Foursquare promo QR codes
Frustrated with how long it takes for your phone’s GPS to get a fix? Tired of searching for your favorite venue instead of actually talking to your friends?
I was too, and that’s why i came up with this: 2d barcodes (aka QR codes. and no, i dont know what QR stands for) for foursquare venues! The script below generates a QR code for the specified venue’s “Venue” page...

I’ve been playing around with foursquare lately, and noticed that they have an interesting API. The way I see it, the only reasonable use of an API is to get me some more mayorships. So i put together a little script to find me “easy” mayorships nearby.
In the process, i learned that OAuth is painful, and i hate it. So for now, i’m forcing python to send my authorization...
