assuming i set this up correctly, this post should (eventually) appear in Buzz.

Dear android and related telephone companies,

Since dealing with multiple SDK versions is a huge pain in the ass, please get your collective asses in gear, and push some SDK > 1.5 please. I’m tired of reflection and generic try{} blocks.

QI is a fantastic show. why don’t we get it in the states? :(

I’ve just pushed a copy of the Hiveminder code to Git Hub. (apparently all the cool kids are using github!)

I’m still not really confident in my git skills, but i’m pretty sure i can avoid screwing this up, as long as i keep it simple!

wtf? these coins make no sense. the 10p is larger than the 20p. the 2p is larger than both!

Hiveminder-ing continues

Instead of packing, i’ve been working on my android hiveminder client.

The new release includes the ability to search your tasks from within the Braindump activity, and to display your todo list as a ListActivity. However, it does not actually mark your todo list items as completed.

Update: task checkboxes can no longer be clicked on, so it no longer gives the impression that items can be completed.

test build is here:

Klaxon Oncall Pager v12

In case you hadn’t guessed from my earlier Klaxon fixes, i’m oncall this week. Luckily for me, i’ve found time between pages to get a new release going. This latest release, which i think will top off v12, has a ContextMenu available for easy replies from the ListView, without having to read all those pesky details about exactly what paged you.
